10k racers will start on the beach and head out making a right shoulder turn around the first buoy towards the point and around Folly Beach.  Racers will make another left shoulder turn around the last buoy and head back around the course to the water gate and will continue to the pier.  They will make another turn at the pier buoy and around the final pier buoy with another left hand shoulder turn.  They will make the final stretch back to the park and a last left turn through the water gate to the beach.
